The Clozup AI Assistant is a conversational interface built directly into the platform. It can answer questions about your data, generate campaigns, draft emails, score leads, analyze call transcripts, and much more. Think of it as having a senior sales ops analyst available 24/7.
Getting Started with AI Chat
Access the AI Assistant from the chat icon in the main sidebar or by pressing ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows) anywhere in the app. The assistant opens as a panel on the right side of your screen.
You can ask questions in natural language. The AI understands your organization's context — it knows your leads, campaigns, deals, and activity history. Some example prompts:
- “How many deals closed this month?”
- “Draft a follow-up email for leads who opened but didn't reply”
- “Create a campaign targeting VP Engineering at Series B startups”
- “What's my team's average response time?”
- “Summarize the last call with Acme Corp”
Model Tiers
Clozup offers three AI model tiers to balance speed, quality, and credit cost:

Choose the right tier
Use Fast for quick data questions. Switch to Balanced for content generation. Reserve Powerful for strategic analysis where quality matters most. You can change tiers per-message using the dropdown next to the send button.
Rich Components
The AI Assistant doesn't just return text — it renders rich interactive components directly in the chat. This makes it easy to act on AI suggestions without leaving the conversation.
Lead Cards
When you ask about specific leads, the AI renders a compact lead card showing the contact's name, company, score, and status. Click the card to open the full Lead 360 view.
Campaign Previews
When the AI generates a campaign, it shows a preview card with the sequence steps, timing, and target audience. You can review, edit, and launch directly from the chat.
Charts & Metrics
Ask the AI about performance data and it renders inline charts — bar charts for comparisons, line charts for trends, and metric cards for KPIs. These are the same visualizations you'd see in the Analytics dashboard.
Action Buttons
Many AI responses include action buttons like “Create Campaign”, “Send Email”, or “Add to Pipeline”. These execute the action immediately so you can go from insight to action in seconds.

Conversation History
All AI conversations are saved and organized by thread. You can continue a previous conversation by selecting it from the history sidebar. This means you can pick up complex analyses where you left off — the AI remembers the full context.
Conversations are private to each user by default. Organization admins can enable shared conversations for team collaboration.
Common Use Cases
Pipeline Analysis
Ask the AI to analyze your pipeline health:
"Analyze my current pipeline. Which deals are at risk of
stalling? What's our projected close rate this quarter?"The AI will examine your deal stages, activity recency, and historical patterns to surface at-risk deals and provide a forecast.
Email Drafting
Generate personalized outreach emails based on lead context:
"Write a cold email to Sarah Chen, VP Engineering at DataFlow.

The AI Assistant can only access data within your organization. It cannot see other organizations' data, and all queries are processed securely. See Security & Privacy for details.

Credit Usage & Limits
Each AI chat message consumes credits based on the selected model tier. Your remaining credits are shown in the chat header. When credits are low, you'll see a warning banner with a link to upgrade or purchase more credits.
Free plan users get 50 AI credits per month. Starter plans include 500 credits, Pro includes 2,000, and Enterprise gets 10,000+. See Plans & Pricing for full details.
